Indonesia is a country located at the meeting point of the earth plate so that a quake-prone country. Kasongan Village

Kasongan Village is one of the villages that serve as the Tourism Village in Yogyakarta Special Region. This village is a center-based pottery clay or loam. Ramayana Ballet


Ramayana Ballet or also known as the Ramayana Ballet is an art show that combines drama and dance that carried stories of the Ramayana. Ramayana is a beautiful legend engraved on the wall of Siwa Temple, one of the existing temples in the Prambanan temple complex. If you visit the temple and walk in Circumambulating (clockwise), you will find the story line through the Ramayana reliefs there.

The story of Ramayana is sung on this show are similar to those carved on the wall of Siwa Temple. This ballet tells the story of a piece of the life of Rama in his attempt to rescue Shinta who was kidnapped by Ravana, king of Lanka. The road is long and thrilling story was summarized in four plays or act, such as: abduction Shinta, Anoman mission to Lanka, the death Kumbhakarna and Ravana, and Rama-Shinta reunion.
The whole story is packed in a series of dance movements performed by hundreds of beautiful dancers accompanied by gamelan music. In this show there is no spoken dialogue of the dancers, there is only sound sinden that describe the way the story in the Java language through songs that dilantunkannya. For those of you who do not speak Javanese do not get discouraged, because there will be narrative in Indonesian and English.
The magnificent stage with a background that flashes brightly Prambanan by yellow spotlights is the first thing you see when you are in the location of the show. However, the protection failed and Shinta had been kidnapped by Ravana.
Finding out that Shinta was no longer in place, Rama and Lakshmana decided to look for it. Not long after, a white monkey named Hanuman arrives. He was sent by Sugriwa to find the two warriors who are capable of killing Subali. Subali is a man who has taken the goddess Tara, Sugriwa ladylove. After being forced, at last Rama decides to help Sugriwa. Sugriwa assisted by Rama finally able to defeat Subali. Sugriwa freed the goddess Tara. To repay Rama, Rama Sugriwa help find Dewi Shinta.
In the kingdom of Lanka, Ravana tried to persuade Shinta to become a wife, but Shinta refused. When Shinta feels sad, suddenly he heard a beautiful song voiced by Hanuman, the white monkey. Hanuman tells Shinta that he was the emissary sent by Rama to free him. After explaining the purpose, Hanuman then destroy the royal garden Alengka.
Indrajit, Ravana boy, managed to capture Hanuman. Hanuman was sentenced to death by burning. However, when burned, Hanuman managed to escape and burn the kingdom with the fire around his body. After listening to the explanation of Hanuman who survived the death penalty, Rama went to Lanka with the army of monkeys. He attacked the kingdom and create Lanka troops in a mess. Rama finally kills him.
At the end of the story, Shinta brought back by Hanuman. But when it met, Rama Shinta just do not believe anymore and consider it has been tainted. To prove her chastity, Shinta asked to burn herself. Purity Shinta proved his body was not burned, but she became more beautiful. Rama Shinta was finally accepted as his wife back.

During the two hour show, you will be pampered with exceptional performance and guaranteed not to make you bored or disappointed.
